Well, it all started when they met at their first clog dancing lesson in 2000! They danced side by side and smiled as they learned. Soon it turned to giggles and they were friends for life!
They were part of a performing group for 3 years and decided to start a group they could call their own. ClogJam was born! In 2005, the group started with a small boombox on the Lincoln Middle School stage with some very faithful members who are still with them today (Leslie, Kathy, Dan, Erin, just to name a few)!
They have since moved on in many ways. They have a great sound system and dance studio space, with many more ClogJam members! Tracy and Christi pursued the training offered through CLOG, the national clogging organization, to become Nationally certified instructors. The rigorous program of teaching, performing and basically running a studio consisted of many tasks overseen by a mentor. They passed the written and performance sections of the test at the national convention in Phoenix and excelled to the highest in their class!
